Pilgrimage to the 2009 MotoGp
«

Are we planning on doing this again? The truck Nazi will be driving again but without the trailer. I think it was useless to bring the bikes. I will be bringing the camper though and setting up across the street from the track with Mr. Motophile and his lovely wife.
We'll be leaving Wednesday and returning Monday morning. I'll happy to bring 3 people with us for some help with the fuel cost.
For us this is still tentative due to all the other events that will be attending throughout the year. One of them being Bonneville. We are going to try to make it and will be more sure when it gets closer.
Anyone decided yet?

I'm definitely in if there is space for me in someone's camper.

I'll need to see then. If I stay in a hotel, then I'll need my bike. I would need to have someone else trailer it up.

I can put one bike in the bed of my truck because I'm bringing the scooter. You can be first on the list but you will pay dearly for such service.

I wanna go !! I can likely do one or the other, the race or Bonneville.
The race should be an easy one for me !!
Is it in September this year ??

NOT JOKING, was it cold there ? Or is it cold there in August?
By cold, I mean anything in the 50-60 degree range.
I have never been to the mid-west .

Count me in. I'm hooking up a catheter and pee bag so I can drink all the way up there.
I'll pitch a tent (schwing) with you guys at the campgrounds across from the track.
Oh and I say we bring the pocket bikes, jump the fence in the middle of the night and do a couple of laps around the track.

80s is September. Probably same temp.
Then I officially want to go !!!!! I will either get a room, bring a tent, or sleep under a bridge. If I have to, I will live in a van down by the river.
I'm not worried about getting around either. It seems like a LOT of club members will be all around and hopefully someone can get me to and from the races and partying fine. I'll figure it out !!
How about it , is that a fair assumption ??
Do the locals ( Mike , Bri, Jud, and Tiffers ) all camp near the track? Like walking distance ??
Can someone throw up a tent where they campers will be ??

I'm going again, probably riding like last year. We already ordered group tickets so that our bunch isn't scattered about in the stands.
I'm definitely soured towards staying at the shitty motel. If I bring a tent with me, what do I have to do to be able to camp out too?
